Explore a high-level look at the capabilities of the open source search engine package, Apache SOLR, showing a real-world example and lessons learned from implementing SOLR in a custom corporate search application. CareSource developer Andrew Spencer will focus on configuring SOLR, importing data from a SQL data source, and using SOLR.net components to build complex filter and ranking queries to support the application during the heavy traffic of over 200,000 searches a day.
